Message About Coronavirus/COVID-19

We know you continue to hear and see news reports about the coronavirus, or COVID-19, and some of its effects around the world and here in California and San Diego.

In response to this pandemic the National Sierra Club and Chapter Executive Committee has taken action to safeguard the health of all of our members, supporters and staff.

Currently our office is only open to FULLY VACINATED staff, Chapter and Group Executive Committee members and key volunteers.  Most meetings are held virtually.  Our Outings program is slowly returning to normal and we expect hikes to fully resume later this year.  We recommend that you check the Chapter Outings Calendar and Activities Calendar to find out the status of meetings and events.

Remember, the CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to help stop the spread of germs and provides more detailed coronavirus information on its website at www.cdc.gov.
