San Diego Chapter and Group Executive Committee Elections

It’s time again for Sierra Club members to VOTE for the next at-large members of the San Diego Chapter Executive Committee. Those elected will be seated at the December 14, 2022 Executive Committee meeting.

Sierra Club, the nation’s largest and oldest grassroots environmental organization, is proudly democratic and member-driven. The at-large delegates you elect, along with the Group delegates direct the work of our Chapter.

The Chapter membership will elect three (3) Chapter Executive Committee members.  The two candidates receiving the highest vote will be elected to three-year terms, the next candidate with the highest vote will be elected to a one-year term.  To read the candidates’ statements, visit here.

You can also cast votes for your Group’s Executive Committee elections.  The North County Group membership will elect four (4) Group Executive Committee members to two-year terms.  The North County Coastal Group (Coasters) will elect  (3) Group Executive Committee members.  The two candidates receiving the highest vote will be elected to two-year terms and the next highest vote will be elected to a one-year term.

Please read the ballot instructions to see if you are eligible to vote in the Group Executive Committee elections.  Groups are specific geographical areas and not all Chapter members belong to a Group.

If you hold a joint membership, each individual under the joint membership should submit their own ballot using the same membership number.
